Sorry, Sir Sidney

Tough break for Ponson tonight in his Giants debut. Skated out of trouble a few times -- and made a few really bad pitches that led to extra-base hits -- but still almost managed to eke out a win. He definitely pitched like a top starter, which is what the Giants want (presumably) going into the playoffs.

But what's the deal with Josh Fogg? When I saw him pitch in Pittsburgh last year he was awful. Granted, he almost got in a fight, but still -- that shifty rookie didn't look like the same guy who pitched six shutout innings tonight.
