From the ESPN.com story announcing that the 49ers have given Dennis Erickson the ol’ heave-ho:
The 49ers will be honorable in paying off the contracts of Erickson and his assistant coaches, who each have a year remaining on their deals.
What is this — news for Klingons?

As we were putting Christmas ornaments on the tree this year, I saw an old 49ers football ornament and paused to think about where to stick it. In the past I was usually really careful to make sure it was in the best position. Well this year is didn't make it on the tree. What a disaster.
