So reports the Associated Press:
Norm Chow finally found an opportunity that enticed him to leave the college ranks after 32 years and accepted his first NFL job Wednesday, becoming offensive coordinator for the Tennessee Titans.”
As Cal alum Michael Silver put it last week:
Jeff Fisher, I already loved you before this, but from the bottom of my Golden Bear heart, I applaud your pursuit of your alma mater’s offensive coordinator, Norm Chow. Fight on, Titans.
Will Chow’s disappearance from the Trojan Army weaken USC next year? Probably, but only slightly. In any event, it’s nice to see the Trojan onslaught weaken even a tiny little bit. As as a Cal fan, it’s fun to actually feel like we’re a part of a serious top-of-the-conference rivalry for the first time since, um, the ’50s.
