BALCO Luck Next Year
Hey! The Pulitzer Prizes were announced today.
Notice what didn’t win any awards? The Chronicle’s award-begging series on the BALCO scandal.
Guess taking transcripts fed by a source with an axe to grind and chopping it up into easy-to-digest award fodder doesn’t draw the awards committees like it used to, eh?
Ah, well. The Chronicle still leads the league in sensitive photo essays.
