Nickname Vindication

For at least three years I’ve been calling Pedro Feliz “Happy Pete.” Three long years of attempting to make a nickname for the Giants’ guy-with-potential.
Tonight, bottom of the first inning, Feliz batting, hits a single. And during the replay, Mike Krukow declares: “He threw that right in the happy zone of Happy Pete!”
Vindication. Sweet, sweet vindication.
