The Two Zitos

Just so that my wife’s comment in the preceding post doesn’t cause any unnecessary confusion, perhaps it’s time to point out the differences between the two Zitos in my life: Barry William Zito, star of JAG and occasional big-league pitcher, and Zito Schmeiser Michaels, housecat.
This Zito is a very skilled professional athlete.
This Zito isn’t.
This Zito enjoys taking time to meet with his many fans.
This Zito enjoys biting people.
This Zito hopes to regain his Cy Young form.
This Zito hopes we won’t notice that he urinated in our laundry basket.
Still, this Zito enjoys watching the A’s, even if he’s more of a Mark Mulder fan.
Please tell me I just didn’t do a weblog entry about my cat. What’s next — bad poetry?
