I am probably the only human being in the world amused by the fact that the San Francisco Chronicle’s report on Tuesday’s A’s-Jays game, in which Toronto pitcher David Bush threw 7 1/3 innings of no-hit ball, was filed by Chronicle writer David Bush.

That must have been a confusing introduction before the postgame interview.

Tonight’s probable pitchers in Seattle: Bruce Jenkins and Susan Slusser.

Well, I laughed... Without having to look it up. And immediately agreed that Slusser was way the better choice than say, Gwen Knapp.
